The Western Engineering Competition is a competition and more. It is a chance for innovative students to come together to share and exchange ideas. It provides a setting for students to develop ties across Western Canada.  Most of all, WEC is an opportunity for leading engineering students to build on their skills for tomorrow.  We, the WEC 2009 committee, have the opportunity to create a forum for the brightest, most dedicated and innovative students in Western Canada to display and develop their skills as aspiring engineers.  Thanks to corporate sponsorship, we can continue this opportunity for students.
